Köszönöm, hogy lehetőséget kaptam, hogy elmondhassam a gondolataim. Először is gratulálok neked azért a munkáért, amit a gitárosokért végzel. Nos, 13 éve játszom Charles Cilia gitárokon. Ezek a hangszerek világszínvonalúak. Kiemelt figyelemmel a játszhatóságra, és a legfinomabb részletkidolgozásokra. Mindig szerettem volna saját hangot és stílust kialakítani, és ehhez ezek a gitárok elengedhetetlenek voltak.
Michael, miért választottad a Cilia gitárokat?
Találkoztam Charles-al egy hangszerboltban, ahol kiderült, hogy nem csak egy remek hangszerkészítő, hanem kiváló gitáros is. A világ bármely színpadán el tudnám képzelni. Ez egy nagyon jó kombináció, hiszen így hogy maga is egy gitáros, tökéletesen érti, hogy mi kell ahhoz, hogy egy igazán jó gitár készüljön. Vehetjük ezt akár a játszhatóságra vagy a hangzásra is. Tökéletesen tudja egyesíteni vagy szétválasztani a gitár és a hang azon összetevőit, részeit, ami megad egy olyan egyedi világot, ahol az eredeti „vintage sound” kap egy új színt. A Cilia gitárjaid, mind eredeti, neked készült hangszerek?
Minden gitáromat Charles tervezte, az én elképzeléseim alapján. Vannak olyan népszerű modellek is a bemutató teremben, melyek megvásárolhatók. Nekem az összes gitáromban egyedi, az én kívánságaimnak megfelelő hangszedőket találhatunk. A saját, „signature” széria gitáromat MD series Harlequin-nek hívják. Charles-el közösen terveztük, és 7 hónapot vett igénybe az elkészítése. Minden részletében olyan a gitárom, amilyet mindig is akartam. A riport végén látható videón meg is nézhetitek, hallgathatjátok a munkánk eredményét.

As we’ve seen, you play Charles Cilia Custom guitars. Can you tell us a bit about the guitars?
Thank you again for giving me the opportunity to share my thoughts, your doing a fantastic thing for the guitar community. I play Charles Cilia guitars and I have been playing his guitars for 13 years. They are world class instruments from the design to the playabilty and the attention to the finest details. I own have 8 of his guitars. I play his guitars by choice. I’ve always been about creating my own sound and style and these guitars play a very big part in that.
Why did you choose these these guitars?
I first noticed these guitars being played by Charles himself in a music shop ,who mind you is not only a brilliant luthier but plays fantastic guitar. He is at a level of playing where you could put him on a world stage .Thats what makes it even better knowing that your getting a guitar built by someone who not only makes guitars but understands everything about them, like playabilty, sound knowing all about the vintage sounds and parts and comparing and incorporating modern ideas to his guitars and most importantly being able to understand what a player needs in his guitar, which all makes perfect sense as soon as you play one and hear it. All my guitars are designed by Charles, but are all custom made to my specifications . He has models that he sells in his showroom that are ready to go these are his popular models. I also use pickups that are custom wound on all my guitars. I have my own signature series guitar called the MD series Harlequin its an amazing guitar. This guitar took 7 months to design along side Charles and has everything on a guitar that i’ve always wanted in a design. He makes unbeleivable quality instruments. You can check out this you tube clip which shows me playing 1 of the MD series Harlequin prototype, there is another prototype coming.
